(Markus 9:23)

Luke 8:27 And when He stepped out on the land, there met Him a certain man from the city who had demons for a long time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house but in the tombs ... Mark 5:15 Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.
These verses encompass the incident of the man possessed with demons at Gadarene. It is worth reading the full story in both Gospels to get a complete understanding of what happened. We must never think that someone can sink to such a state that the Lord Jesus Christ cannot save them. Here was a man, so possessed of devils, that he no longer lived a life that had any semblance of normality. He had abandoned the standards of everyday society, and lived in unrestrained, insanity driven by the demons that possessed him. But Jesus deliberately came to visit this man and deliver him from the terrible bondage he suffered. We find him at the end of the story utterly sane and completely normal. While very few have ever been in the same sort of distress that this man found himself in, many are afflicted and affected by the powers of evil in ways that make life distressing.
We must never forget that Jesus delivers utterly! If there are matters in your own life that trouble you, then continue to seek the Lord until you know that He has delivered you from these things and properly established His reign of peace in your life. We can fully trust Jesus’ promise that: “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23 )
